Infrared Film
Shoot and develop one roll of B&W Infrared film. You can photograph any subject. However the images should take advantage of infrared film's unique properties.
Here are a couple of items to keep in mind
- You need to use a red filter (#25A) on your lens.
- If your camera has autofocus, turn it off. The infrared sensor will give you unexpected results.
- Your light meter will not work. Instead use the following guide to exposure:
- In bright sunlight expose distance scenes for 1/125 of a sec at f11
- In bright sunlight expose near scenes for 1/30 of a sec at f11
- In shade open up 3 stops from the figures above
- Be sure to bracket
- Develop the film in D-76 1:1 for 11min.
